Capillary Action

Capillary action is the process of a liquid flowing in a narrow space without the assistance of any external forces. It can even be in opposition of Gravity. In this video, I am demonstrating capillary action using 3 activities:

  1. Bloom the flower: The flower (which is made out of regular colored paper) bloom when placed in water!
  2. Grow the caterpillar: The water absorbed and causes the caterpillar to expand and become colorful.
  3. Make a rainbow: Colors from other glasses will mix and make wonderful color patterns.
